1962 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

The first Ronald McDonald House of the Central Valley, Medera, CA.,  opened on Millbrook Ave. in 1984. We were the fourth Ronald McDonald House to open their doors in California.  Our first Ronald McDonald House as a 7 room facility.  The facility was started with a great deal of excitement and support from the local community and partnership with Valley Children’s Hospital.  As the surrounding area grew, so did the need for the hospital to expand.  When they moved to a new location about 20 minutes away, we followed.   On February 14, 2001, we expanded to an 18 bedroom Ronald McDonald House located adjacent to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, CA.

Inside you’ll find an all new interior; dash pad, seats, door panels, and carpet. The chrome is triple plated, wiper motor was rebuilt, wonderbar radio rebuilt, motor and transmission rebuilt, rear-end rebuilt, and the frame is completely rebuilt and powder coated. The beautiful Tuxedo black paint and new red interior give this car one of the most striking looks of any Corvette!

Many consider the 1962 the greatest of all the C1 Corvettes. The 1962 model year was the last Corvette with solid rear axle suspension, dual exposed headlights, and electric generator. The conventional trunk design of the 1962 Corvette was the last model to include it for many years.

The 1962 Corvette Convertible Contest begins on January 1, 2018 and ends 5:00PM PST November 16th, 2018(“Contest Period”).

The winner will be notified November 30th, 2018 at approximately 12:00pm PST.
