This precisely detailed 1959 Corvette was assembled in St. Louis Mo., on April 30, 1959. The well-manicured Tuxedo Black exterior is enhanced by generous chrome, white soft convertible top and red interior. The classic wide white wall tires and stainless steel wheel covers brings the car’s entire look together.

It sat in the owner’s garage for more than 30 years before Murphy’s Classic Restoration was commissioned to totally restore this car to factory specifications. As you would expect from this $122,000 two-year 100% frame-off process, it was fully documented with invoices and captured with a complete book of photos. It has been driven less than 500 miles since the completion of the restoration process. This Corvette has earned best of show and first place honors in several car shows.
The car was designed with exposed four headlamps and a prominent shark teeth grill. The instrument panel, with concave instruments, was designed to reduce glare and displays a well-placed generator drive tachometer. It is also equipped with a wonderbar AM/FM radio. It sports a 283 cu-in displacement, 245 hp engine with twin 4 barrel Carter carburetors and a 3-Speed Manual Transmission. The owner’s manual is also available.
There were less than 700 corvettes produced in this combination during 1959.
