The Tamir Foundation deals with adults with a variety of developmental
challenges and provides these members of the Ottawa community with the
supports necessary to live productive and fulfilling lives. This is done through
outreach programs to help people live in their own homes as well as by providing
housing for those that need a more one on one level of support. Help with the
skills needed to work in the community, both social and technical, as well as the
tools required to maneuver through day to day life are provided by a team of
dedicated social workers without which these people would be unable to
function.
