The Kane County Farm Bureau, ST. Charles, Illinois, a not-for-profit membership associationwas one of the first county Farm Bureaus in the nation to organize and has a date of 1912 on its charter. Chartered as the Kane County Farm Improvement Association, it organized to help farmers improve their production practices. In 1919, our name was changed to Kane County Farm Bureau. Today we serve both rural and urban people who are interested in the well-being of agriculture.
The Kane County Farm Bureau Foundation was established to promote education, leadership development and research in agricultural fields. The Foundation awards thousands of dollars in scholarships and internships each year to area college students pursuing careers in one of Illinois’ largest Industries, agriculture.
