Proceeds benefit the kids at the Can! Academies of Dallas/Fort Worth. Established as Dallas Can!, the founding school served juvenile offenders with remedial education. After 10 years of positive results, TEXANS CAN! was born, offering expanded services to high school dropouts and non-adjudicated youth. As more and more students changed their lives, TEXANS CAN! became one of the first 20 Texas charter schools in 1996. 

Today, TEXANS CAN! is expanding throughout the country. More than 67% of graduates go on to post-secondary education. So far, more than 30,000 students have changed their lives and the lives of their families through TEXANS CAN! With your help, we can positively change even more.

Raffle Benefits

Kristie’s Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 by Laurie Kotas. Her inspiration is her 7-year-old daughter Kristie who passed away on September 29th, 1985 from Leukemia. It was Kristie’s love of life and end of life experience that inspires Laurie to reach out to other families during this crisis.

Kristie was so full of life and loved dressing up, wild theme park rides, and spending time with her dog and family. When Kristie’s time was limited, Laurie took every opportunity to find ways to cherish each and every day. Days at theme parks, feeding the ducks and looking for rainbows are some of Laurie’s most treasured memories.

Laurie’s dream is to change the way we care for terminally ill children and have a very special place for children and their families to go at the end of a child’s life. A place where families can have privacy along with the medical expertise and support they need.

A beautiful brand new 2009 Jaguar XF generously donated by Alvarez Jaguar of Riverside, CA. Tickets are only $25 each and no more than 4000 will be sold!
