This 1932 Ford Coupe Hot Rod has been built from the ground up by the folks over at MC Fundraising who are dedicated to helping out local charities and disadvantagedyouth in their community. For over ten years they have conducted car washes, car shows, car raffles and build projects to raise money to help out people in need. To date they have donated over $100,000 to the Queensway Carleton Hospital and other charities in the Ottawa Valley area. Here are just a couple pictures of this great looking Ford Hot Rod. The Idaho Governor’s Cup Scholarship is available to high school seniors and home school students throughout Idaho. All proceeds from the Idaho Governor’s Cup are dedicated to funding this program. Academic and professional-technical awards are offered to those students plan to further their education at and Idaho college, university or trade school and who demonstrate a strong commitment to public service. Academic scholarship recipients receive $3,000 each year, renewable up to four years, while scholarship recipients pursuing a professional-technical education or trade school education receive $3,000 per year for the length of the program, up to three years.

By participating in this year’s event, you provide more opportunities for Idaho students to further their education in our great state.

American Legion Riders (ALR) Post 49 is a 501 (c) (3), non profit organization. All proceeds of the raffle will go to support veteran’s organization and families of our men and women in uniform.

At the time our chapter was formed there were 7 original members. Now 2 years later there are over 40 members. We participate in local parades and motorcycle events to raise money to support local charities and military programs such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Wounded Warriors Project.

The sale of the raffle tickets will end at the purchase of 3000 tickets being sold. Drawing date is Nov. 14, 2010, therefore tickets sale must be made by Nov. 13, 2010.

Tickets may be purchased by any legal US or Canadian resident. Minors need parental/guardian consent at drawing of winning ticket.

Price per ticket is $25.00 US dollars. Tickets may be purchased by money order or certified check made payable to ALR Post 49. Check website for contact info www.alrpost49.org/ (click – Chapter News).

Payments must be received by Nov 13, 2010. Payments received after Nov 13, 2010 will be returned to sender.  All sales are final; no refunds shall be made at any time. Participants acknowledge that purchase does not guarantee they will win a prize.

ALR Post 49 will present the winner with a clean title, free and clear of any liens. ALR does not warrant the condition of the vehicle and specifically states the vehicle is being raffled in “AS IS” condition. The winner hereby releases ALR Post 49, its officers, agents and members from any responsibility in connection with any loss, accident or death incurred in connection with the use of this prize. ALR Post 49 does not make nor is responsible to warranty or guaranty with regards to this prize. Cash prizes will be paid within 14 days of announcing the winners.

Winner shall be solely responsible for any costs associated with use or ownership of the prize. Taxes, fees and any surcharges relating to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize transfers are permitted. No prize shall be refunded or exchanged for cash.

By entering the raffle, participants agree to abide by the rules and regulations associated with this raffle. ALR Post 49 reserves the right to amend, revise and interpret these rules as it sees fit. The winner is responsible for all taxes, tariffs, duties, shipping, licensing/registration fees and miscellaneous costs related to the prize won. The winner shall be responsible for the transportation of the prize.

One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries on Nov 14, 2010 and announced at ALR Post 49 and the winner will be immediately notified.

Odds of winning the 1923 Ford T-bucket are 1 in 3000. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner need not be present to win.

We have been providing invaluable contributions to the community since being founded in 1954. The Club name is derived from the Hopi word “Mahnah” meaning “leading women of the tribe”. Our members are committed to actively serving the east valley and surrounding communities. We also volunteer our time and efforts for many non-profit organizations on an average of over 4,000 hours annually.

There is no therapeutic intervention that has been more studied or validated than Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. ABA is a data-driven system of teaching that emphasizes breaking down skills into their component parts and teaching them using various prompting and positive reinforcement. A skill is considered mastered only after the data verifies that conclusion. By building related skills in a coordinated fashion, ABA has been shown to have the physical effect of “re-wiring” brain circuitry in individuals with autism. In other words, therapy done the right way actually teaches children “how to learn.”
