How to sell Raffle Tickets
Part 2
Some more ticket selling ideas here for you...
Get
a hold of some local radio stations. See if you can get the morning
and evening DJ to mention the raffle on the air during drive time.
Try and talk to a program manager or the DJ himself (if possible).
The local station is again always looking to get invloved with the
community
If you have a local TV station ask them to do a mini
story on your raffle, the cause and what the tickets are going for.
They might eat it up. Local news that helps people. Even if they could
mention it with a 20 second clip of the car in the back ground.
Boy
Scout and Girl Scout Troops are great community groups to get to know
and deal with. See if you can participate in one of their events,
or ask the Troop Master if you can give all the boys/girls a flyer
to take home about the raffle
Pizza Boxes. Many local and national
pizza chains offer advertising right on the pizza boxes for take out
and delivery. Typically it's a small flyer or note. Talk with the
owner and see if they will give you a free round or two of advertising
on their boxes. Then offer to have them as the primary vendor or sponser
at the Grand event when you draw the winning ticket for the raffle!
Are
the Arts a big part of your community? Contact the Art Director and
ask them to hand out a mini-flyer about your raffle with every program.
More often than not those invloved and interested in the Arts are
very involved in charity and good cause organizations themselves
Send
