Montserrat’s volcano erupted in 1995 &
devastated the entire town of Plymouth, home to 3,000 people at the
time. The volcano has been active since, making it difficult for the
people to live their normal lives.
You can help by donating to our
fundraiser, which gives you a chance to win a brand new 2008 BMW Z4 Convertible!
The funds collected will go to a number of projects
on Montserrat. As we’ve been told by the Montserrat Red Cross, the
needs include:
1.Aid for the Golden Years Home for elderly people;
2.Wheelchairs
& crutches;
3.Funds to help keep Red Cross operating, such as for
electricity,
water, & furniture;
4.Funds to build a thrift shop;
5.Funds to buy
school supplies & books for the library.
